The Rocky Road to Liberty: A Documented History of Chinese Immigration and Exclusion
Chinese American Society (CAS) is organizing an event for its book debut “The Rocky Road to Liberty: A Documented History of Chinese Immigration and Exclusion”. This event is dedicated to celebrate the 160 years of immigration history of Chinese Americans in the US, to raise awareness of the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1892, and to support the immigration reforms for the new century. Many politicians at city, state and federal level will attend this event, including Congressman Mike Honda and State assembly member Paul Fong.
The event is co-sponsored by the California History Center. Specific information for the event is as follows:

There are two tiers of tickets: the $60 ticket includes the book and a cocktail luncheon, the $20 ticket is for cocktail only.
